Natural undenatured ethanol product is produced by the process of fermentation. This ethanol is obtained from sugarcane crops. The sugar is converted into ethanol by action of yeast. The ethanol, clear and colourless liquid, is subsequently purified by distillation and ethylene hydration to a concentration of 99.9%. Purity of ethanol is measured by concentration of the substance of ethanol in liquid solution. Volume of ethanol over volume of the final solution (v/v) is the most accurate measurement of purity.

At a concentration of 99.9% there are 999 ethanol particles for every one water molecule, in a 1000 particle solution. This undenatured ethanol has no additives to modify it for specific use, but it is not intended for manufacturing beverages. Because it is undenatured it requires excise registration under rebate item 621.08 with tariff heading 104.21. We can help with this registration process.
