Our non-toxic Isopropyl Alcohol product at a concentration of 70% mixes readily with liquids such as alcohol and water. This blend is made up by adding 98% pure isopropyl alcohol with 99.9% pure synthetic ethanol at a ratio of 7:3. Purity of the isopropyl alcohol is measured by concentration of the substance of isopropyl alcohol in liquid solution. Volume of isopropyl alcohol over volume of the final solution (v/v) is the most accurate measurement of purity.

At a concentration of 70%, there are 700 isopropyl alcohol particles for every 300 other particles, in a 1000 particle solution. Isopropyl alcohol is used as a solvent because it dissolves a wide range of compounds. It is non-toxic, making it a favourable choice in industries where chemicals might contact bodily surfaces. As a cleaning fluid in healthcare and food processing industries it readily dissolves oil residues from surfaces in these workspaces. 

This product is not intended for the manufacture of beverages. It is used for the manufacture of synthetic acetic acid, antiseptics and industrial chemicals used in disinfection and sterilisation.
